So near yet so far

S.Watson 93(89 balls, 9X4, 3X6)
India 347 (49.4 ov) : S. Tendulkar 175 (141 balls, 19X4, 4X6)
The genius called tendulkar nearly pulled off for India what would have been a great and improbable win just fell short of the mark and expectedly the rest weren't able to cope with the loss and we couldnt scrape past one across them. This is such a similar sight seeing sides not able to get the knockout punch to the Aussies in particular which can be attributed to the fact they might be more tougher mentally or the other sides are not that much as them.
Year 1999 , match : Ind vs Pak (test match), India lost almost on the doorsteps of victory, that time also the genius had taken them so close and this time too. That time it was such an emotional heartbreak for him and the nation that he was crying in the dressing room and didnt even turn up for the post match ceremony where he was the Man of Match.
Need to say what the man might be going through now. Words cannot express the disappointment he must be feeling now. As for me no matter how sad I am it'll be paling in comparison to what tendulkar might be going through ,able to console myself with that :(

life a.k.a movies
why can't "Life" be like movies? different Genres, different colors, different characters. They all have diferent story line ups and somehow I end up searching a part of me in all of these....and eventually we are more or less satisfied by the ending what happens there..or if not then we are either taught some lesson. But no matter how much I wish my life also turns out like a movie, it Flops :(

trick r treat...
As being a horror movie sucker I am always on the lookout for some good gory zombie, slasher, ghostly, bloody ..... etc etc ... type movies. Browsing through wikipedia catalog http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_horror_films I encountered this movie which stuck me by the picture of a cute pumpkin baby draped in a sack-cloth looking ominously. Read through some of the storyline and came to know the movie was pushed back for release by warner bros. and legendary pictures for some reasons. Finally its here, its a story of inter-related stories which are presented quite nicely. It shows merciless killings for not paying respect to someone's disabilities and abilities. All in all a nice opening 45mins with a subdued last 40mins but interesting to watch, must recommended along with Stephen king's IT which has some relation to this with kids in common and an amazing scene of Georgie falling for 'Pennywise the Clown' must see scene - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzoPUHKZTNM&feature=PlayList&p=979873D7920478E1&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=30

Birthday Bash...
This was a unique birthday for me, not that some crazy stuff happened. It was like all other nice one's with friends like last year when I visited tiwari's where vijhi and mrs. vijhi surprised :) This year I finally managed to get a license for myself and exorcist the dream of driving on US road by from columbus, OH to Rochester NY at Anu's place all by myself. It was nice again to celebrate the b'day with a friend. Thanks guys for being there :)
Though there wer some couple odd moments when I had to do a U-turn 22 miles for an under construction exit miss but all that counts is I made it!
PS: 1. Mujhe abhi tak zyada gifts nahi mile hain, the doors are still open ;)

Locked Out
Though it shudnt surprise those who know me well that I keep on getting myself into stupid situations or doing stupid things. They'd rather say that I am stupid being so its quite common for me, anyways coming to the topic of post. This Friday dated
30-May-09 I managed to come out of my house and forgot both yes not 1 but both the pair of keys of house inside. I wonder what these fair skinned idiots thought while building this auto-lock system in doors like computers alas we always have to remember the password in our grey matter rather than carry it in our pocket. Funny ain't but sure enuff itz not believe and you'll believe it when you know why-
1a. The prop mgrs - sir we dnt have the keys to ur house it wud be with the owner, but if we'd had them we'd charge you 150$ for sending them over[ohh yeah like they are keys to ur world bank you as*(()(e]
1b. The property managers told me to either call the locksmith which locked out his shop and ran away to celebrate the gud/bad friday early.
2. If not he'll send someone with a ladder or equipment to enter in the house, ohh how sweet -- no the bugger said every hour the man wud be charged 100$ (Bloody He^&^&&) n they say why US is in recession, no doubts at all.
3. Safe passage call the owner - voila what we get he's in Washington celebrating the long weekend from the previous weekend and continuing over from the weekend before that may be. Well how else he's earning his money rather than leasing his house to such idiots, ok boss but i can take the keys to home from ur reidence in NY?
Ans: No Ka(Y)pil i am carrying the keys[I am thinking wat the hell is he carrying keys for an apt which he has rented and he itz not supposed to exist on the map where he is rite now(washington)] Ka(Y)pil I feel sorry for you but if you can survive the night I can come tomw[assuming you pay me a fine] -- Bugger off.... I'll better go for option 2:
So the guy came after fightin with the traffic that day some 45 minutes later and just opened the room like we open maruti in India with sliding a plane object and pushing up the look from the slanted side.

wat a nightmare, thank God I took my beer out with me and thanks to my new beautiful neighbour she gave me one more before dancing her to meet her date.

Tagged-Its all about numbers
Anu tagged again to do this....
1 is the no of times i have fallen in love till now..
2 are my elder brothers who are twins but not lookalike
3 is the no. of people i lived as in room-mates for most of my life outside home.
4 years was the duration of WASE my MS
5 is the no of friends whom I considered as my best and closest but it should be mutual, shouldn't it?
6 years since I have been part of this industry...
7 things i'd loved to change if given wishes- emotional attachment, less of intelligence, cribbing, height, hairstyle, my house in b'lore, negative thinking.
8 was the no. of months I stayed in VIT,vellore for MCA before joining WASE
9 is the number of Test playing nations officially but less play..
10 thousand$ is what I wish to get paid everymonth and increment every every-year...
Huh! somehow I've done it....given the nature of task....
